Our Breakthrough Leadership Diagnostic and Development Plans allow individuals to explore where they lack skills and qualities required to lead and sustain breakthroughs – and fast-track their own development.

Over 20 years of experience, we have developed a profile of how a Breakthrough Leader acts. We have supplemented this with evidence-based insights and research data to identify 12 breakthrough leadership skills (e.g. Network Activation, Persuasion & Influencing) and 12 breakthrough leadership qualities (e.g. Confident, Courageous & Risk-taking).

Individuals use the Diagnostic to identify strengths and weaknesses and reflect on their learning and leadership journeys to date. This acts a a benchmarking tool for tracking progress and performance over time. The Diagnostic can also be used as part of an official 360 assessment process.

However, we do not stop there. To turn evaluation into action, we have developed a Breakthrough Leadership Development Plan that individuals can use to specify which skills and qualities they want to focus on building in the coming period (3, 6 and 12 months) and design activities they will undertake to ensure they reach their goals.

Our insight into motivation studies is that the key to change is to create new ‘micro-habits’ that fit into existing workflows and daily life, which allow the individual to build new habits easily and with minimum friction.

We leverage our expertise in peer-to-peer coaching systems to allow the Breakthrough Leadership Development Plan to be used as a lite way for team members to coach each other towards individual breakthroughs and business breakthroughs.

The Breakthrough Leadership Development Plan ensures the disruptive innovator and breakthrough team members takes ownership of their own excellence; and the team becomes self-managing and organizing in terms of growth and development.

We tend to use these tools at the start of all major programs. The outputs are used to help us and our clients design interventions in leadership and team development programs.
